Andor Spinning Disk/TIRF/Widefield

Overview:  This is a multi-modal microscope configured around the Andor Revolution Spinning Disk confocal system.  The Yokogawa spinning disk and frame transfer camera are optimized for fast time lapse imaging and optical sectioning of specimens.   The second camera can be used with either the TIRF illuminator for total internal reflection microscopy of fluorescent samples, or standard widefield fluorescence and transmitted light.  Specialized hardware and software can also be used to perform STORM super resolution imaging.  The system is located in the Biology and Physics Building (BPB), room G05D.  Click here for rate information.
